Heavy machine guns manufacturer Manroy has ended takeover talks with Nevada-based US Ordnance Inc but active discussions continue with Herstal.

Talks about a cash offer from Beretta are not active but they have not ended.

Manroy floated at 75p a share three years ago and the share price moved back to 83p a share following the announcement of bid talks but it has fallen back to 73p a share, which values Manroy at £13.9m. The lumpy nature of the business has hit the share price performance.
